Interesting and diverse work, bad lifestyle, perfect for few years but not for longer

I worked at McKinsey & Company full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Superb organisation with high integrity, great opportunities and excellent training. It's #1 for a reason

    Cons

Long work hours, perfection to the point of absurdity, decreasing incremental value toward the end of studies, solutions can err on the theoretical and feel incomplete

  2.

Outstanding company -- great people, great experience, great benefits

I have been working at McKinsey & Company full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Get to work with motivated, high-performing individuals at all levels. Work on the most interesting problems vexing some of the best companies in the world. Clients are on average great to work with and excited to work with a McKinsey team.

    Cons

Still an adviser to clients rather than a true owner of a product or P&L; Travel is tough and not changing any time soon given the strong (and I feel correct) belief that the client is better served with consultants who are onsite 'shoulder-to-shoulder'

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep up the good work -- don't cut any of the training
