    I have been working at Michaels Stores part-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Coworkers were pleasant for the most part. Everyone below the managers seemed to understand that working there was complete crap.

    Cons

    Low pay, inconsistent hours, inconsiderate management, inconvenient customer and coupon policies.

    I worked at Michaels Stores part-time for more than a year

    Pros

    I was able to be creative and innovative with the designs I created. There were very few limits on the work I was able to do. All of my coworkers were friendly and fun to work with and we all worked together.

    Cons

    There is little to no instruction, the amount of work was more than the time given to complete the work. There were too many infractions to corporate standard operating instructions.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    If you are going to put out a manual provide guide employees to attain the World Class Status, then provide the tools to accomplish your mission.
