A good place to learn about a big company

I have been working at Microsoft part-time (more than an year)

Pros

a well-structured company, as a part-time student working there, employers are patient to teach you stuff as long as one wants to learn

Cons

too well structure and hierarchy, couldn't feel the passion about creativity or its own products

    Pros

    Microsoft is a great company to work for. So many opportunities to move vertically or horizontally within the company.

    Cons

    It's an extremely competitive environment. Sometimes you just wish Microsoft was more of a leading player in some of the technology areas.

    good working environment, interns are given full responsibility as other formal employees do, so we have lots of work to do, lots of things to learn

    cannot figure out now. :)
