Ok at mid management level, further up is not so solid

Large company with diverse people (for engineer types that is)
Unique work

ConsUpper management not developing consensus, most actions and policies are all "pushed down" to us.
"Challenge up, support down" does not really seem to be practiced in many areas re: project execution, flexible work, telework, general communication styles.

Advice to Senior ManagementDevelop consensus with bonafide employee committees
End nepotism of the good ol buddy kind
Try that one show, Undercover boss out at Northrop. Boy, you might be surprised.
