Company is being run by someone who views the employees as a number and has complete disregard for tenured employees.

Pros

Great products.
Great employees
Nothing else.

Cons

Senior management are puppets.
Company really believes that the products are healthy.
bonus structure a joke compared to the industry.
constant restructuring.
actuary scientists are the only secure job there.

Advice to Management

Get rid of Indra. Compton has already flown the coop and he was the only decent person left there. Everyone should have had the big eye opener during the 08 and 12 layoffs. Get out while you can!

    Pros

The pay's good. If you're hourly, you'll make a killing.

    Cons

Poor management, from front-line to senior management. No willingness to improve the environment. Too many sacred cows. It's not what you know, it's how much you brown nose. If you're incompetent but suck up, you'll go far. Don't ever go to HR about manager quality, or ethics issues.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of the failed ITIL model. The only way things get done is if the ITIL structure is circumvented. Clean house of the management layer and start over.

  2. Cannot handle experienced talent, shrinking business

    Pros

Very nice people for the most part

    Cons

Organization as a whole does not invest in their people, and cannot manage talent. The industry is shrinking and my boss hoarded work, as opposed to a growing industry where there is more work than people to do it (and growing opportunity).

    Advice to Management

    Don't hire MBAs.
