Pros

Mission oriented. Respect for work life balance. Many long time employees. Fair to staff in comp and benefits.

Cons

Lack of common standards across regions, especially accountability toward cost. Disruptive personalities are tolerated way too long, especially in mid management.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

wash region needs to consolidate. they are 5 fiefdoms within the state. they need to get with the program and flatten out like oregon did for the past 20 years.

    Extremely stressful and understaffed for the acuity of patients we take care of.

    Pros

    Co workers are conscientious and hard working, good pay, rewarding to be a nurse and help people, lots of days off due to working 12 hour shifts.

    Cons

    Very stressful, staffing levels are done by numbers rather than acuity. Pts are very sick and often there is no one to help you. Always worried about making a mistake and hurting someone or being sued.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Improve staffing. give us more help. You keep adding duties to our work, you never take anything away. More and more work and responsibility is piled on.
