I have been working at PwC full-time (more than a year)

Pros

Tons of learning, work with bright people and expand your network, working in public accounting will definitely expand your opportunities

Cons

You will have no life. Also, as you transition into a senior associate role, you typically have to juggle multiple assignments and may be expected to devote significant time to multiple assignments at once. Managers/partners don't always communicate amongst each other and may both be asking you to work on something outside of what you're scheduled on.

Positive Outlook

    Pros

Great place to excel your career and grow as an indivisual. Excellent opprtunities available.

    Cons

Pay scale lower than industry standards.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Higher pay scale would motivate the employees and will reduce staff turnover. Futher opportunies for secondments would also ensure high motivation and lower staff turnover.

I worked at PwC full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

The experience in a Big 4 company stands well in your CV.
You learn a lot during the grueling and long office hours.

    Cons

Humiliating and aggressive behaviour by management to the employees.
Questionable business practices towards clients - luring the clients towards aggressive tax practices just to benefit from defending them in subsequent litigation cases.
Client fees are quoted at an almost dumping-like minimum and sustained by forcing employees not to report their actual time spent on a project.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
