Current Employee - Anonymous Employee in Slough, Berkshire, South East England, England (UK)

I have been working at RB full-time (less than an year)

Pros

There is a lot of opportunity to take on responsibility at a very early stage. There is also a great opportunity to travel and work across various brands.

Cons

There is a bad work life balance. Especially due to the awkward commute between London and Slough- lack of bars etc in Slough also mean less team bonding.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Move out of Slough

RB gives opportunity for a fast career development but the high level of management is cost centric.

I worked at RB as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

Fast career development. There is an exceptional team spirit .Many and different responsibilities from day one which gives motivation to try harder.

    Cons

Unfortunately is the example of a cost driven multinational company . In order to minimize the operating costs they sacrifice many talent managers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I suggest to become more anthropocentric and to take the advantage of your biggest asset, your employees.

I worked at RB full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    - International Environment
    - good bonus package

    Cons

    - no work-life balance
    - unrealistic expectations from Senior Management
    - no humanity
    - working hours (I remember lots of days where I worked more than 12 hours / day)
    - high pressure
    - burn-out syndrom will definetely hit you as it hit lots of employees I worked with
    - nobody cares about the employee itself
    - by the end of the day it doesn't make sense to work for RB even if they pay you a couple of million Euros

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

CHANGE THE COMPANY CULTURE AND DO NOT FORGET THAT WE ARE HUMAN AND NOT ANIMALS
