I have been working at Raytheon full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Depending on the program, there can be plenty of opportunities. Pay is competitive and not all management is inept. Some jobs provide significant financial incentives beyond base pay. Positions available worldwide.

    Cons

As with all large corporations, it's easy to fall through the cracks. The system for applying to new positions within the company appears to treat internal applicants the same as external applicants (you may not even get a call if your resume doesn't have whatever HR is looking for).

I have been working at Raytheon full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Cross-training, in the numerous sections. The company is so big, that there are so many new jobs to learn. Never a dull moment. Easy to start from the bottom and work your way up fast with the proper motivation.

    Cons

Hours worked are long! Pay should reflect your qualifications and experience. Schedules constantly change to support the customer.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Micro management with all the paperwork to file for the jobs completed.
