“Challenging work, however Defense Industry can be slow and tedious”
Former Employee – worked at Raytheon full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – Interesting projects to work on. Friendly and smart coworkers. Feels like a family at work. Good benefits and a great company discount system.
Cons – Can be slow due to the nature of Defense Contracting. Jobs not always stable, since government policies are changing (especially with regard to national debt issue)
Advice to Senior Management – Look to diversify from Defense to keep cycles down.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
