Demanding, but most of the time, rewarding

Private Banking Officer (Current Employee)
Edinburgh, Scotland (UK)

I have been working at Royal Bank of Scotland full-time for more than 8 years

ProsDirect contact with our customers. Get an instant sense of things right and wrong.
Good sense of direction from management

ConsManagement styles vary from department to department.
Poor software for staff use over different department means different approaches to work
Training schedules vary wildly

Advice to Senior Managementbetter communication with staff. Standardise more interdepartmental co-operation so less chances for miscommunication to the public or something falling between the cracks.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
