I have been working at SNC-Lavalin full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Great work atmosphere, treat people like grown ups, and like professionals.

    Cons

Too many culls, company is run by IT and HR who need to realize that they are SUPPORT services to the business and construction activities, too many competing entities within the company for the same work, and inflexibility to complete with outside consultants for the same works.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    - work should be directed internally, rather than given to the outside consultants where possible, to maximize profitability to shareholders.
    - Housecleaning and reorganization is in order. Hopefully the new CEO takes care of this....eventually.
