    Pros

I will say, the salary is pretty decent. And if you are in the right situation, there is the potential to work on multiple contracts.

    Cons

In short, the upper management doesn't seem to recognize there are people working for them. Recently they announced several fairly significant changes to employee benefits. Their justification was to save what amounted to a couple of percentage points. I get the feeling that they decided to go after the employees forst, rather than trying to find any other option.

I have been working at SRA International full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

    - Lingering "good" corporate culture, however, largely off-set by other challenges.
    - Mid-tier benefits but declining focus on what actually benefits staff.
    - Challenging technical / client work.
    - Good historical reputation with clients and in Federal work-space.
    - Good work life balance.

    Cons

    - Aging corporate tools and infrastructure greatly lagging to support business.
    - Staffing and upward mobility, more and more challenging too coordinate.
    - Losing distinct corporate culture that was once a hallmark of the organization.
    - Poor sense of corporate connection for off-site staff

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get back to focusing on the SRA "family" culture, ensure that staff see and live the corporate culture at a macro level. Fix burdensome staffing issues and time to source candidates for open revenue generating positions. Show more honesty with staff regarding changes to corporate leadership, policies, and benefits - rather than espousing pollyanna platitudes.
