I worked at Schneider Electric full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Challenging projects and high potential for long term growth. Health Benefits are better than most but can be expected to continue to cost more and get less in the future in keeping with standard global corporate philosophy of placing shareholder value ahead of the needs of the employees.

    Cons

Sales force comes last in all things. If applying for a sales position, its their way or the highway.
Bonus pools are separated between sales and operations and they are in direct conflict with one another - leaving conditions ripe for mis-management by under-supervised local managers.
No work-life balance whatsoever in this branch.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Want to increase sales? Make total commissions paid to sales and total profit dollars earned a major component of the local branch and operations managers bonus calculations. That way instead of opposing forces slowing things down its all for one and one for all. That means teamwork instead of locked door meetings.
