I worked at Stanford University full-time for less than a year

Pros

You get to meet many leaders in many disciplines. Any position at Stanford can easily be used to establish contacts in a desired field.

Cons

The administration is growing without any active discernment, and it wastes a lot of money. Look out for people who get their foot in and then try to bring in nepotistic connections for positions.

I have been working at Stanford University as an intern for less than a year

    Pros

The days outside are very sunny and amazing. I love the weather and you get access to some of the greatest faculty.

    Cons

Some people are just too serious about their work and never take the time to enjoy the day. My mentor never gave me a break during the summer which was really bad for me.
