I have been working at State Street

    Pros

Cool Coworkers, Good place to start a career but not for the long haul. Exposure to financial industry.

    Cons

Senior management does nothing to try to retain good talent.
Pay is very low and getting raises outside of the yearly 3% bump is nearly impossible.
The company has been hiring people with no background in accounting/finance/business lately and hiring incompetent employees is getting to be pretty standard around here.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Do something to retain good employees and stop hiring people with no financial knowledge/education since it is very hard to work with people that have no interest in business/finance.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO
