I have been working at Tangoe full-time

Pros

Good place to work, especially in a down economy. They have a very good future in this somewhat untapped market. Also have a great CEO that seems very bright and has brought tangoe from a tiny company to a public company with offices around the world in just 10 years.

Cons

Sometimes I think we suffer from a lack of planning but then again it is a fast moving market so I guess that goes with the territory.

    I have been working at Tangoe full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    *Relaxed, causal work environment and friendly coworkers. Work at home positions are also very comfortable.

    Cons

    * Lack of organization.
    * Lack of set procedure.
    * Lack of proper training.
    * Lack of proper management.
    * VERY high turnover rate.
    * Management does not listen to the voice of the workers at the bottom of the chain.
    * Unwilling to work with employee's (especially long term loyal employee's) even during life changing events such as requesting a schedule change or move to part/full time.
    * Contract employee's are made to feel like they are disposable.
    * Company expanded too quickly and cannot handle the influx of new clients.
    * The list goes on. If you are job searching and this is your only option take it, if not KEEP LOOKING.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Management needs to start listening to their staff since they are the ones who actually deal with clients and carry a different view point not seen by Management. Set clear procedure to handle issues, there is no organization when each Manager has a "Preferred" solution to a problem. Otherwise, new management is needed across the board.Management needs to start listening to their staff since they are the ones who actually deal with clients and carry a different view point not seen by Management.
