I worked at Target full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Flexible scheduling, slightly friendly atmosphere, supportive workmates, great chain of command like ideas, great design ideas for the different seasons

    Cons

Not very caring for workers, lame ideas for encouraging employees, pay raises were really a joke, management was not adequately trained to handle their responsibilities, at times,.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You don't need to extend the hours to try and save money, it is better to lower the prices, offer better sales, be more friendly to your workers, in turn they are the ones who help sale your merchandise, train your management better to know how to respond to employees and not give conflicting commands, do not use stupid ideas for everyone to follow because of a select few workers feel a certain illogical way. Just stick with common sense and not get to greedy and you will do better. Last, don't try and give one person a work load that equals a load that requires three or more people.
