I worked at The Nielsen Company full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

If you love working in expositions and enjoy sales and the end result of events and digital media then Nielsen is good. Nielsen offers great shows. Good pay and comm.

    Cons

Upper level leadership is poor and doesnt recognize individual talent but talent based on the overall sucess of an individual property. They outsource everything to India so it's hard to get real issues fixed. They limit professional growth. They dont invest into buying expositions and they dont invest into existing properties. It is what it is, sink or swim.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Bring jobs back to the U.S. Invest into buying other shows, create a path for individual achievement and growth, recognize true talent and most of all value your employees and support a faternity atmosphere of belonging.
