I have been working at University of Kentucky

    Pros

    Good university with good people

    Cons

Too many students in a class
professors are trained to "weed out" instead of "teach"
Students = money (thats a university for you) Try a small college for a good education.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop taking in students and giving them a base education.

Start training people for the real world... think "apprenticeship".... And... Bring businesses in to hire students.... make your education worth something more than a piece of paper.

    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at University of Kentucky full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Collaborative atmosphere and everyone willing to help teach
    Flexible hours but long
    Intellectually challenging

    Cons

Had to wait a very long time to get my Ph.D.
Ph.D. isn't worth nearly as much for a career as what it used to be.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try harder to accommodate your worker's future career goals.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    Approves of CEO
