Current Employee - Graduate Student in Los Angeles, CA (US)

    Pros

    Lots of opportunities.
Lot of tech-startup activity around Los Angeles, so being in USC is advantageous.
Great reputation in EE,Games,Cinematic Arts and interactive media.
    Courses align with industry requirements.

    Cons

    Expensive.
Lots of students which results in a loss of diverse interaction.
    TA/RA for PhDs only.
Many students aren't passionate about academia.
    Security issues.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Reduce fees. It seems ridiculous to pay so much, and still not have jobs to get through rent. The number of students on campus make it more difficult to get a simple job.
Also ensure that the nearby areas of the university are safe for students to walk around.
