University of Tennessee Employee Review

Former Employee – worked at University of Tennessee part-time for more than 3 years

Pros – -Basically get to "audit" classes and learn interesting subjects
-Choose your schedule
-Convenient for college students
-No uniform or constant supervision

Cons – -You don't get paid much or at all if the student does not show up to class
-You end up putting in unpaid time walking to the classes and to the office to copy your notes
-You cannot really talk to anyone in the class and they will wonder why you don't show up for exams

Advice to Senior Management – Hopefully the pay has been raised since 2010 because it isn't much when you really think about it.
