I have been working at Walmart

    Pros

I have had opportunities to move up and work in different stores and have worked in several different areas. Gained tons of HR experience.

    Cons

Too bad that the company has cut some benefits for new hires...no more merit raises, 90 day wait for discount card, not even time and a half on Sundays.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Would love for you to revisit pay grades.

I have been working at Walmart full-time for more than a year

    Pros

I can't think of any pros. May be job security

    Cons

Low Salary. They usually trick you saying about bonus but if you decide to leave in between you get nothing.
    Not so great with technology.
You will be generally put into different technology from your skill set.
Longer hours. They say 45 hour work week but end up working more than that.
    Not so great benefits.
Infrastructure is bad. Can't get things done due to very bad infrastructure.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

See what other companies are doing to keep the employees happy. Upgrade the technology, upgrade the infrastructure. Pay good. Score employees on what they did not on what you hear.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
