I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Good base pay for management, excellent benefits, can make a lot of money through incentives, company cares about employees' opinions

    Cons

Too much division of leadership across regions generates inconsistent vision and values throughout the company. Very sales focused, which leads to a lot of cheating and unethical behaviors.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Revamp the incentive programs. There are many pieces that set up employees to either fail or cheat. Be careful not to reward cheaters, and allow them to set the bar for other employees, as that just creates more unethical behavior.

I have been working at Wells Fargo

    Pros

I've worked with great people, great managers, and great customers. It has been a pleasure thus far to be a part of Wells, and I do recommend it to friends. Being a teller has its pros and cons, but for me, the pros far outweigh the negative. Excellent upward mobility.

    Cons

A lot of sales pressure, although sales are fairly easy to come by. Sometimes, it can feel as if your work is a little under appreciated, as it's rarely about what you accomplished yesterday, but rather what you can do for them today.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    More recognition.
