I have been working at Windstream full-time (more than an year)

Pros

none. Everyone in my department is looking for work elsewhere.

Cons

Since Windstream acquired my company, they have put me in a position that has nothing to do with my background and training (Network Engineer). They have me doing budgeting and finance work, but refuse to give me the proper training (or any training) to do my new job, They are only concerned with immediate profits and dividends, they are not concerned with having a stable network and happy customers.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to your technical engineers. When they are all dissatisfied, your business is not sustainable.

I have been working at Windstream full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

My direct supervisor is the only reason I've stayed.

    Cons

They will threaten your job every chance they get, instead of finding ways to motivate their employees. The quotas are completely unattainable, there were 12 out of 87 people who last month were able to get any kind of commission check. They are not flexible with time off/family emergencies/being sick/etc. No where to move up unless you are friends with upper management, hard work does not pay off.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be fair. Listen to your employees and find incentives or other positive ways to motivate them, not threaten.
