    The technology stack is great and you as an engineer can learn a lot and gain valuable experience

    Cons

    Management ca play a hinderance sometimes but guess that is present in all the big companies at some levels.

    Focus on how to align employee career goals and technical interests with the companies' vision. Yahoo will develop a much happier and innovating culture then.

    I worked at Yahoo full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    No two days are alike in this fast-paced work environment. Work is diverse and challenging with a global audience and impact. Intelligent and articulate colleagues with managers who really do take a personal interest in your career. Yahoo! is a major player despite its critics.

    Cons

    Critics and negative media are the norm for this major player. Project teams vie for limited engineering resources. Layoffs are always just around the corner.

    Better prioritize around the core user experience, innovate, and iterate. Increase salary levels.
