Pros – The leaders in telecom sector as service providers to the best known operators in India.
The technology is ever evolving, and there are lots and lots of scope to learn, implement as well as gain mileage in your career in the long term.
Being an MNC, it has a smooth interface for interaction with international counterparts.

Cons – The compensation growth rate is slow, although the starting salry is quite good in comparison to industry peers.
There is less flexibility in horizontal movement (i.e. across departments).
Immediate managers have a lot of say in the growth movement, due to which employees may feel constricted at times.

Advice to Senior Management – Keeping with the superb culture of learning at Ericsson, the employees should be provided the scope to move not just vertically but also horizontally.
Regular feedback should be taken about the employee satisfaction with respect to the type of job he does and not just about compensation, work culture etc.

Pros – 1. Flexible Work Timings. Laptop is given but no work from home option.
2. As Ericsson is a product based company not much work pressure on employees.
3. Very good company if you are at higher management.
4. Short term onsite opportunities.
5. No dress code.

Cons – 1. Increments depend on your manager.
2. Telecom specific work. IT people seriously avoid Ericsson.
3. Too many processes, but none followed seriously.
4. Routine work. Nothing much to learn if you are for longer tenure.

Advice to Senior Management – Recognize employee contribution and give increments accordingly.
