    Pros

Financial performance, opportunity and a transparent approach for customers. Opportunity comes as fast as you can handle it. Well run organization with outstanding solutions.

    Cons

Not sexy, but just wait! Lot of moving parts that don't always work great together. Better than any of my previous employers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Better communications with all staff on a regular basis.

    Pros

Good domains, appropriate salary structure, employee friendly.

    Cons

Negligible annual hike in salary, equal respect to each individual is expected.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Not force associates to work in skill set which they do not belongs too.
A associate should not be assigned to multiple teams in a project.

I have been working at Fiserv full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Fiserv is probably the best place to work, provided the facilities, policies, no of work days everything is excellent except the cons mentioned below.

    Cons

Fiserv is a product based company, so a seasoned employee in banking/financial domain is more valuable to itself than a new employee coming from a web based dev background. The company offers high salary package offers to such new joinees but to the existing employees it offers very poor salary hikes resulting in employee dissatisfaction.

I have been working at Fiserv full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Work Life Balance (In fact you can enjoy more of life here)
    Good Infrastructure
    Relaxed atmosphere
    Good support teams

    Cons

    Bias for mediocrity

Job profile does not align with skill set

Exceptional people are seldom hired. Hiring from C and D grade colleges preferred

Majority of workforce is suffering from complacency and is laggard in their field of operation

Project deliveries are marred by excessive delays, customer escalations and quality slippages

Project and Senior Project Managers have risen from technical ranks. Lacks maturity in handing team issues.

Unfairness in Appraisal System. The people shifting out from project are made scapegoats. Their ratings are decided by Managers without consulting or formal meetings/feedback. They are shifted to lower end of bell curve. And there is no mechanism to raise concern or make a protest.

Employee engagements teams have a dearth of creative ideas. Propagating the industrial era engagement practices.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Good company is about exceptional employees. People want to work with great colleagues. Mediocrity breeds more mediocrity.

I have been working at Fiserv

    Pros

    1. If stuck in good project, then working on great technologies.
    2. Even if you get into a "low workload" project, you would get ample time to relax. No hire-fire except for PIP cases.
    3. Flexible timings in most of the business units.
    4. Healthy leave policies. Almost 35 leaves you can take.
    5. I, personally, moulded my nature from an aggressive developer to calm, gentle, and conflict-resolver team lead with guidance of some of senior people.

    Cons

    1. Some managers only talk in bookish language, and overlook the real situation.
    2. Some managers use offensive language, they're lucky that I didn't get a chance to work with them.
    3. Hike is normal, nothing extra-ordinary which is a standard when you stay in the same company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

To those who think they know quite a lot, well there are other people who are also experienced with some or other stuff that you might not be aware of - this is for managers.
