    Pros

    Everyone is super nice, Managers have the "Open Door" so you can talk to them about any concerns, it's a few blocks from the beach so if you need to relax after you get off its a good get away. you can get time off as long as you request ahead of time, salary isn't too bad

    Cons

    you have to pay for parking every time you work, required to wear heels at ALL times while on the clock unless closing the store (I've already lost feeling in my toes), you could be closing until 3 in the morning

    Pros

    It is a fast paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. Co-workers are friendly and fun to work with.

    Cons

    There is no commission structure, with little room for advancement. I was not offered any raises during the time I worked for the company and sometimes the scheduling may get a little unfair.

    I have been working at Guess? for more than a year

    Pros

    Fun events like "Oscar Parties" (photo booth & cotton candy at lunch), Gourmet cafeteria, sample store on site. One hour lunch, on-site gym w/ daily classes (yoga, spinning, kick-boxing...).

    Cons

    Very strict about being on time (heard ppl have even been fired for being 5 min. late). Few holidays off. Not much room for advancement, little internal promotion. Low pay for non-upper mgmt. Seems like a good place to learn/gather experience for work in fashion, it just stagnates after awhile.

    Small shifts, entry level experience. Great brand awareness. Only a specific type of person will fit well here.

    Pros

    Who does like fashion? And Guess is a great company to learn a lot more about trends, driving sales and customer service. Great discount.

    Cons

    Upper leaders like they like to call themselves think of themselves like aGod, so they like treating their associates with little respect ( at least in my store) there is no motivation and everyday they're are coming up with a different focus which takes away what we really need to focus which is customers and sales.

    People are what make companies, the way the feel where they work is important because good vibes make anything possible. A company shouldn't be ran by who is who's favorite but by who works and shows passion and dedication. I've worked with many great leaders but the ones I have now have just pushed me away we the disrespect and mistreatment of the store manager and one of the cos. it's sad because I thought I would be able to grow old with Guess since the company is great, the people hmmm no that much.
