Work environment at HSBC Bank India

Manager (Current Employee)
Mumbai

I have been working at HSBC Holdings full-time for more than a year

ProsComfortable job. People generally don't work on weekends which is not the case for many other private sector banks in India. Well laid out HR Policies.

ConsVersatility and dynamism are often not looked for in Support functions like HR, Communication and Corporate Sustainability et al. Many employees work in a team or function for years and make a comfortable bubble around themselves. They go on adding no new value or fresh perspective to the working environment. They often turn the environment not so conducive for innovation, value addition and new initiatives.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
