    Pros

    Very loyal to its employees. Family oriented. Many perks include onsite daycare, full gym w/ sauna, full-service cafeteria, onsite car detailing, onsite massage therapy, "sleep" rooms, company paid trips, summer picnics and Christmas parties, company paid sporting event tickets and so so much more. Great place!

    Cons

    New hire hours can be a bit rough. It usually starts as a 10a-7p. Any other "Cons" would most likely seem trivial compared to all the other amazing benefits and workplace environment.

    Pros

    Great flexibility in schedule. You are exposed to some of the latest technologies, but you better learn quickly. Make sure to learn from your peers too.

    Cons

    The mid-level management is not trained to manage people. Instead, they have promoted technical folks who do not always have a passion or understanding of management.

    Adjust with the market cost of technical labor.

    Pros

    The work is easy. All you have to do as Customer Advocate is show up on time (very important!), answer the phone, and do your best to help the caller. Supervisors and other people on your team are there to help if you need it.
    There is a nice gym (free), cafeteria (not free), and day care (also not free).

    Cons

    In the Jeffersonville office it seems as if everyone is related either by birth or by marriage and opportunities depend on who you know (or at least it appears that way)

    Pros

    Great pay. Free 24/7 gym with personal trainers. Health insurance is great with low deductible for singles. Fully staffed cafeteria to cook what you want how you like it, along with daily specials. Good energy throughout the building. Relaxed working environment. Management or Leads treat you fairly, you will get the occasional "Micro-Manager" though. Bob Carr, CEO is a positive person that honestly is just like me and you and wants the company to be happy and succeed.

    Cons

    Departments that are open 24/7 will usually start employment at late shift. Also, holidays you can be scheduled if no one volunteers, however the holiday bonus is enough to make anyone want to work on Christmas! Human Resources can be a pain when a situation occurs that you'd like to appeal.

    Pros

    I have a hard time saying this after 16 years of being in the corporate world, but the only pro was meeting fellow colleagues and talking to business owners for the sole purpose of networking. There is NO PAY for sales representatives and is no different than an MLM structure internally.

    Cons

    WARNING - BE CAREFUL WHEN THEY WANT TO HIRE YOU & GET EVERYHTHING IN WRITING No pay & horrible benefits package with high deductibles. It appears and is structured like it is a pyramid scheme. You have one or two guys/gals that are getting overrides and it is structured like an MLM; and just as costly on your end.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    You can't co-mingle a merchant services business and acquire payroll companies and expect the same results using the same metrics and technology. Additionally if you have to misrepresent your company to hire individuals tell them the truth that the company does not pay a salary and will pull there so called "bridge" if they do not sell anything in 30 days.

    Pros

    Industry/technical training provided, as well as a great online learning center to refer to.
    Good work-life balance since working independently.
    Some potential growth into Team leadership role if start out in sales.
    Some benefits provided.

    Cons

    No business owner likes paying payment processing fees, so they automatically don't like what you're selling.
    If you don't have a strong network in a niche market (restaurant/bar industry, medical, etc.) it's really tough in a big city, like Chicago, b/c it’s already flooded with competition.
    No local office so you work from home and have weekly team meetings at a coffee shop, or the like.
    It’s 100% commission so if you're not disciplined enough to work from home, self motivated, and willing to beat the pavement every day, then you're probably not going to be very successful.

    Get your act together with Division & Team Leadership. Hire recruiters to find good leaders, and sales reps.
