Current Employee – been working at Hitachi Consulting full-time for more than a year
Pros – They have good number of projects in Oracle. Most of the projects are small one. Good learning opportunities.
Cons – After accruing Sierra Atlantic, the policies has been revised which most of the employees found uncomfortable to deal with. Junior level employees don’t find any great career path. Trainings and onsite opportunities are very less. Pay hike is less and below standards. Also this is not an ideal company for non-oracle people.
Advice to Senior Management – Work on some employee friendly policies and pay hike. Also concentrate on Employee benefits and good working culture.

Former Employee – worked at Hitachi Consulting full-time for more than a year
Pros – (i) Flexible work timings
(ii) Fun activities at work if you are interested in games and stuff like that
Cons – (i) No transparency in appraisals .. if you are rubbing shoulders with your manager you get good rating otherwise they don't even justify your rating.
(ii) Their billing rates are relatively high when compared to their competitors hence loosing existing and new projects.
(iii) Most of the managers are at level zero on technical grounds , it takes hell lot to make them understand the issues.
(iv) Practice of firing if there are no new projects.
Advice to Senior Management – Change lower and mid-level management.
