    Different people have different experience

    ProsHR Policies are good.
    Work from home option when on project.
    Lots of training are being conducted.

    ConsDoesn't have good projects.
    Long bench time period (4 months)
    Only Hitachi Hyderabad is good. Pune is ok but Bangalore is worst.

    Advice to Senior ManagementNeed to focus on Bangalore office more. People should get good exposure working here.

    hitachi consulting india-rewards mediocrity

    ProsSeen some very insightful review posted by some employees only to be clouded by orchested reviews ,encouraged to post the review to caution the aspirants who wish to join.

    The biggest reason one shouldn’t join Hitachi consulting india is that one will get to hear perpetual floor talk that some employees are laid off in one of the locations( Bangalore ,Hyderabad or Pune )from the day one finish his induction program , seen people laid off 3 times in a duration of 1 year. Hire and fire is the game played all the time by the senior management.

    Most dangerous outcome of the reckless hiring and firing game is ,the management has to pay high salary to lure the prospects to join Hitachi Consulting(20 to 40 % more than market price or else the people will not join Hitachi consulting) and onboard them, most of the projects that Hitachi consulting works on are on ERP oracle up gradation which lasts for a duration of 3 to 6 months(Maximum) once the project is completed the employee is released to bench ,the company has zero tolerance to bench and the associate are fired within a duration of 1 month after he is on bench as the organisation is heavy at the top. This exercise of mass firing happens once every 3 to 4 months apart from the firing that happens every week or fortnight.

    ConsThere is a perpetual jabber by the senior management in India about creating new processes and procedures in the organization to increase business as a result they blindly copy the process and procedures of other organizations global IT gaints which are absolutely irrelevant to the organization which is of the size and scale of Hitachi consulting(the revenue contribution Hitachi Consulting India to the Global Hitachi consulting is $ 45 Million), The tiring presentations (PPT’s) are shown to the visiting American bosses which sadly gets their buy in , I only wish American bosses ask for the outcome rather than sit through and endure the never ending nonsense in PPT form (Hope they look into Proposal Factory that the Indian operations has initiated and the value add and business that it has brought into Hitachi consulting ).

    Advice to Senior Managementmr ceo, senior management team whoes brain child was propoal factory is rewarded with a promotion, wish u ask what are the benifits of proposal factory ( never saw anything more silly than that)and revenue it bought.

    Hitachi consulting India - incompetency breading incompetency

    ProsSeen some fake positive reviews posted in the website to encourage people who are not aware about Hitachi consulting India to Join the organization, setting the record right to help aspirants who wish to join Hitachi consulting India ,rest leave it to ones wisdom.

    The incompetency in the company emanates from the stagnant senior management who have been in the organization since the inception of Sierra Atlanta which is later acquired by Hitachi consulting USA.
    Associates will see frequent re-org and organizational change (Happens every 6 months in India) to accommodate the fat cats, white elephants and their ego’s(by giving them flashy designations ) to make them relevant in a dynamic service industry, the fat cats and white elephants have formed a very strong nexus and mutual admiration clubs andhave absolutely insulated themselves from any KPI’s that exists in any IT industry, they get hikes all the time and performance is never measured or is applicable to them, the brunt is borne by associates who are hired for projects and fired when the project is completed ,this nasty hiring and firing game is played just because of having inefficient ,non performing heavy top management and fat packages given out to them which results in having zero tolerance to bench, in other words associate who joins them is looked upon as tissue paper which is expendable when the job(project) is done.

    ConsDue to the long stay in the organization the senior management has developed feudal recklessness while dealing with employees especially by senior management and sadly mid level management emulates them and even go to extent of massaging the egos of senior management for sake of survival ,senior management shuns associates with competency and merits and likes ego massagers ,this is a classic example of incompetency breading inefficiency. Any employee who is used to talking his mind and express his opinion will find himself in midst of ego mines and feudal minds which discourages any initiative or originality. What surprising is that incompetency is tolerated by an American company which has a Japanese roots for non performance and inefficiency.

    Advice to Senior ManagementThe damage that Hitachi consulting India is doing is that wanted to buy A/C for the Indian summer and I did not buy Hitachi air conditioner in spite of having worked in the company for long time.mr CEO this is the damage done by HCC indian management.
