I have been working at Honeywell full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Good work life balance. Can come at 8:15 - 9am and leave at 5:15 - 6pm
They won't terminate people. So even without much efforts one can stay here lifelong

    Cons

    - no growth at all
    - rating is from 1 - 9 ( best - worst). even with exceptional perfomance it'll always be in 5.. only if you are in good terms with manager, it'll be 2.
    - not much of technical stuff worked on. it's vry hard to get job in other companies with this work
    - claims to be CMMi level 5, but no facilities, perks , gifts for eployees
    - people policies are 'n' in number. but just for word sake. even anti harassment case officially filed will be masked by HR if it's against a higher management person
    - salary hikes are in single digits or no hikes
    - one has to wait for 6-8 years for one onsite opportunity ( 6 months term)
    - promotions are usually delayed as much as possible
    - 90 % of people ( 2 - 8 years experience) are looking for change. it shows how unhappy people are
    - favoritism is observed more. only manager's pets get good hikes n promotion
    - fun at work, outings etc is very minimal
    - extra useless work like mandatory 1 kaizen per month, participate in HOS, HSE meetings, process meetings, do PDVSM etc. all these are not considered in any outside companies

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    - management is wasting organizations money in the name of safety kaizens where in colorful boards are put up every month which is of no worth. shifting cafeterias here and there. Rather spend same amount to provide good hikes to employees.
    - keep the policies transparent n take care of harassment cases filed.
    - ILP should be transparent. for few people interviews are held and few are silently promoted
    - try to retain existing talents by giving them good opportunities to grow in career than spending so much in hiring new people every now and then
    - facilities like work from home is given only for managers and engineers are always asked to take leave. this is partiality
    - senior management, specially LSE or technology specialists are very egoistic. they won't allow others to grow. lot of politics done to suppress engineers
    - the PER ( people engagement relationship) surveys you take is always giving negative feedvback. still no actions taken

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO

Takes time to move up the ladder
    Fewer onsite opportunities

More options to employees to move from technology to a non techno stream.
