I have been working at In-N-Out Burger part-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Job focused on others and making others happy while working closely with your upbeat and often times hilarious co workers. Leave work feeling uplifted

    Cons

Long hours on your feet. And you come across people on their bad days. Meaning you catch attitude for no reason but that's people any where you go

I have been working at In-N-Out Burger

    Pros

In-N-Out truly values their associates. Training is thorough and guidelines are very clear. Associates are trained to be efficient and productive multitaskers with a strong focus on team and morale. The company puts on several events for associates a year, 2 days of holiday pay, some medical benefits, profit sharing, and even vacation pay to its part-time associates. I have always felt that I had the tools I needed to succeed, and the pay is great compared to any other fast food joint.

    Cons

The fast-pace and often high-volume nature of working at In-N-Out can be very stressful. There will always be more pressure to go faster and do more without sacrificing quality. Managers are transferred from store to store fairly frequently which can make working under a manager who isn't used to the store's business patters or team dynamic very challenging.

I worked at In-N-Out Burger full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Great atmosphere, hard satisfying work, great people. There was a lot of room for growth and the pay and benefit opportunities were awesome.

    Cons

Too much bureaucracy and upper management pressure. The company is a family owned business and tries hard to maintain that, but has gotten to big to do so.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Taking care of the employees and customers is very important and it is something that they already do well, but sometimes it is at the expense of others. There is a feeling of people stepping over others to get ahead.
