Current Employee – been working at Ingersoll-Rand full-time for more than a year
Pros – Its a place where people have there comfort. No in and out time. Work from home option available. If you are placed with a higher Salary along with Higher position, you can simply relax. Only people like us i.e. Operational Level people has to work. Fancy designations like Associate Manager are given even to freshers.
Cons – Even though I performed, my Bonus and Increment was proportioned with Company's performance which was low. Even though the Company's in Profit the multiplying factor shows low performance. If you join this place, please join with high Salary so that silly bonus and increment won't effect you.
Advice to Senior Management – Please rate individual's performance separately. No Offsite activities for Junior-Mid Level employees. Even operational level people need some time off. Please reduce leadership travel, actual way to cut cost and providing good bonuses.

Former Employee – worked at Ingersoll-Rand full-time for less than a year
Pros – What can I say It was too short even to contemplate anything. Worst ever experience with no leadership vision, accountability. All Dog and pony show!!!!
Cons – Pros are CONS... There was no Pro... It was a worst experience. The law of averages catches up with you when you work for 30 yrs and change job once the lightning strikes and you end up in bad organisation. The leadership had no idea on functional alignment!! Thank god I jumped the ship!

Current Employee – been working at Ingersoll-Rand full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – IR is a great company having very ethical business approach. CEO, Senior leadership & Sector leadership is really competent. Excellent talent development infrastructure & programs. Handsome salaries and other benefits.
Cons – Weak & unsupportive regional leadership. Communication gap exists between regional leadership and low, medium grade employees. You need a godfather to grow as too much favorism exists. Slow & indecisive decision making. Confused between Indian & western business polices.
Advice to Senior Management – Favorism must be eradicated from the company. Need to shuffle some regional leaders.
