Intel Technology India PVt Ltd --- Best for Permanent Employees

    Database Administrator (Current Employee) Bangalore

ProsIntel provides space for the employee to maintain well balance between professional and personal life. This is one of the best product based companies for permanent employees

ConsIts not that good for contract employees. There is lot of discrimination on CWs and permanent employees think that they arrived from a new planet

Advice to Senior ManagementMaintain transparency towards CWs as well

A great company ruled by Expat Managers

    Verification Engineer (Current Employee)

    ProsGreat Work life balance
Decent salary, not a pay master
Great on campus facilities compared to other companies in India
    Good employee benefits.

ConsBloated expat managers. All top management and their sub-ordinates are expats who come to India to have vacation for a few years before relocating back to US.
    Very hard to get promoted.
Relocation to US is really very hard especially if you are hired within India. However its a piece of cake for those who came from US.
Indian hires are not treated on par with their NRI counter-parts working in India.
    Too much of bureaucracy.
No room for meritocracy.Managers are biased towards employees who have same/similar technical skill sets as them. So employees in adjacent domain are always ignored.
Hardly a few groups work on good technology. You will find that the business model in India is more like a services model.

Advice to Senior ManagementI don't think management is going to take feedback seriously...so no point in specifying it to them.

It is very good and hallenging

Component Design Engineer (Current Employee) Bangalore

ProsVery good perks.Includes bus service/shuttle, cafeteria facilities etcalso, teams work globally. so a lot of scope for intercation and learning

ConsGrowth is slow. And you get restricted to a particular work. Also since it is a big comapny you dont realise the importance of your work

Advice to Senior ManagementMust be ready to promote faster

My honest, personal and frank view

    Hardware Engineer (Current Employee) Bangalore

Pros1) Work life balance and excellent campuses
    2) Giant in Semiconductor field - We get to be part of something big no matter what project we are in
    3) Any work/technical problem- we find infinite walking libraries, who can give solution
    4) Job stability
    5) Exploring different roles and finding a job which suits your skill is easier

Cons1) Not the best pay in Industry, if we start and grow as a fresher
    2) Too much of parallel teams doing same work
    3) Too many employee's who have stayed for long time and try to jump into freshers work
    4) Recognition is very bad. In the sense that wrong people take credit instead to credit going to person who did the work

Advice to Senior ManagementNeed to improve on identifying exact people who do the job and remove people taking unwanted credit. Like the new CEO level direction on where company should go.
