I have been working at Intel Corporation full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    1. Excellent pay package
    2. You get to work on products that makes a difference; feeling of accomplishment is great
    3. Work with best possible brains in the industry
    4. Will get great negotiating power to work with the rest of the Ecosystem

    Cons

    1. NOT A PLACE TO BE IN if you are NOT into Sales/ Tech work
    2. India Leadership is myopic; they take what comes their way
    3. Management is clueless and what I have seen is that they don't have a great say in Strategic Initiatives
    4. Long working hours, at times thankless jobs
    5. Too many unnecessary reviews, management updates with no concrete outcome. Mostly, its a factor of time and stop when Management has enough
    6. Learning opportunities far and few. Very little is done for career progression

Some of the Cons are related to India Management and may NOT be necessarily true in US/ elsewhere.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    1. Be flexible in your approach; be more strategic. Don't suck up to whatever comes from folks sitting elsewhere
    2. Promote cross location work culture. Give an opportunity for people to work at different Geos
    3. Create more opportunities for new skill sets; don't be that short sighted to forget about employees who churns the wheel
