    Pros

Great benefits. Competitive salary. A corporate culture that empowers the driven. Stable.

    Cons

Many layers of decision makers, which makes them slow to course correct. Not nimble. Creative thinking is encouraged, but new ideas are slow to get off the ground.

    Pros

Excellent technical exposure, great collaborative team effort, ridiculous company benefits, and flexible timings

    Cons

Stressful and hectic work periods at times, little room for mistakes or under-performing, a little hard to move up the corporate ladder for beginners or inexperienced hires

    Pros

One of Intel's core values is being a great place to work, and it shows! The people are friendly, the work is interesting, and the company as a whole really respects work-life balance. Job rotations are pretty common, so you can get exposure to a wide range of work. And Steve Rodgers (the GC) is very focused on career development of everyone in the legal group.

    Cons

Location isn't ideal. Sometimes the engineering-driven culture (especially all the acronyms) can be annoying. The company is big, so expect some bureaucratic hassles. Also, people tend to stick around, so it can be hard to move up in the organization.

  10. Big company, lots of politics. Success all depends on your team and manager.

    Pros

Lots of flexibility to work remotely, Ability to move around the company and learn a new job/ discipline but mostly lateral moves, interesting technology and very competitive in the chip space. Benefits are good and on par with other companies. Their sabbatical is attractive if you plan on staying with a company for a long time.

    Cons

Pay is ok if you're outside of the Bay area but not as competitive as other tech companies in the valley. Not many perks either. Your success all depends on who you know and work for. Very political. Lots of ok talent. Intel doesn't attract the best in Silicon Valley but if this is your 1st company out of college, go for it. Very very difficult to move up. Flat organization. Too many meetings that are very unproductive.

    Advice to Management

Reduce # of meetings, hire more talent that have specific discipline expertise, hold teams accountable to deliver on ROI.

    Pros

still monopoly in PC semiconductor industry. AMD is far behind and has too many problems to effectively compete

    Cons

    PC market is shrinking
    confrontational culture

    Advice to Management

take a look at all the failures to diversity in the past, and try to do things differently
