Former Employee – worked at Ipsos MORI full-time
Pros – Interesting people and interesting work.
If you're serious about research and research methodologies, particularly social research, it's definitely a great company.
Cons – I got the impression that the company had a reputation of paying poorly compared to competitors.
Advice to Senior Management – Not everything can or should be rationalised!
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Former Employee – worked at Ipsos MORI full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – - Interesting work across a variety of subject areas and clients
- Lots of variety
- Opportunities to manage projects and work with people of different levels
- Senior colleagues were generally supportive in client meetings and set up
- Interesting lunchtime seminars
- Casual dress on Fridays and there used to be free fruit, but they took that away to save money
Cons – - It's hard to get promoted here unless you are a very outgoing person or friendly with the directors. Even if you work very hard and have no problems with your work, if you do not portray a confident and outgoing persona you will find it hard to progress.
- No formal off in lieu policy or other compensation for working late in the office or at focus groups, so it is down to individual managers' discretion as to whether or not you can come in late the next day etc.
- Time sheets must be filled in to account for everything you do.
- Too many computer systems, e.g. it can take ages just to get a quote for fieldwork.
Advice to Senior Management – Think more about the steps people need to take for promotion, as it is unclear. People who are quieter but do a good job and develop good relationships with their clients should not be overlooked.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

Current Employee – been working at Ipsos MORI for less than a year
Pros – Good place to start, if you are looking for experience, but not all glitters are GOLD!
Cons – Waoooooo!, what can i say i think they need more of pay structure, may be because its Market Research Interviewer, they believed you do not faced hassles in the field.
Advice to Senior Management – Be straight forward in their pay, give more pay per interview, without people in the field to get the survey there would no report to present to client, also considering the weather in UK it should be more motivated.

Former Employee – worked at Ipsos MORI full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – Talented colleagues, supportive and creative environment, inspirational senior management, varied and interesting workload, opportunity to follow own interests and manage own workload. The company is well known and respected which makes it a great place to start a career in Market Research.
Cons – Very low salary considering level of responsibility expected of junior staff, poor work-life balance, difficult to stand out from the crowd. Allowing staff to manage their own workloads can also mean that some members of staff take on a lot more than others (with little effort made to change this by line managers).
Advice to Senior Management – You're doing a great job - continue to listen and inspire.

Current Employee – been working at Ipsos MORI full-time for more than a year
Pros – -Colleagues: the best of the best. Best colleagues I have ever had in my life.
- Office: our office in London Bridge is amazing. Comfortable, open plan and facing the times.
- Relaxed atmosphere.
Cons – - Low pay and little of no increase.
- Once you reach a point you don't learn much (but remember this is only my experience)
- No career path
Advice to Senior Management – I think things are improving. Our direct managment has lots of good ideas that will make us grow professionally. On higher ranks I am not sure they want that.
