Current Employee – been working at Ixia for more than 7 years
Pros – Great people, industry leading/strong track record, focused on culture and developing our people, a global footprint, opportunities are boundless. Join us if you like collaborating with passion, focus and speed. We're proud of our company, our team and our purpose in the hi-tech space. We have a lot of fun while solving very challenging, bleeding-edge technical problems.
Cons – The pace is fast, but it's worth it if you like making a difference.
Advice to Senior Management – Stay focused. Keep growing. Keep focusing on making Ixia a great place to work, learn and grow.

Current Employee – been working at Ixia full-time for more than a year
Pros – Working for a successful & rapidly growing company like Ixia is thrilling, especially when many of its products are cutting edge and first-to-market. Partnerships with the best companies in technology and industry standards organizations set Ixia apart from its competition. Opportunities to learn the latest technologies and stay ahead in one's career make Ixia a compelling place to work.
Cons – My negative experience with Ixia may have been a negative side effect of its rapid growth. In one case, I was treated harshly by a co-worker who worked many years for the Ixia. We worked together on the same account, yet, he treated me like his competition and tarnished my reputation with our customer by backbiting and using false accusations. Despite his relatively narrow technical expertise, and even worse communication skills, management looked the other way when I and his other peers voiced concerns. In another case, a project manager with very little people management experience (and an extreme lack of interpersonal skills) was promoted to be the director of the global professional services organization. In my opinion, his disagreeable personality sours the morale of the entire organization.

Current Employee – been working at Ixia full-time for more than a year
Pros – - New and complex technologies
- Friendly environment
- Capable management
- Good base salary
- Great additional benefits
Cons – - Sometimes work can be a bit stressful
- Late hours some days due to the need for meetings with US and India people
Advice to Senior Management – Relax your expectations for one release train. If time has shown you cannot do as much as you would like in so little time without adding stress and overtime to the technical staff, then you should rethink your estimations.

Current Employee – been working at Ixia full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – - getting into new technologies (optimize traffic, data security)
- great benefits
- good pay relative to the market
- open management
Cons – - woking hours tend to go late in the evening due to time difference although there are some efforts into limiting the meeting up to a certain hour of the day
- the company doubled the number of employees and the people still didn't integrate, don't feel always as a team
- fast changes are happening but they are not managed properly and raise people frustration
- middle management need to grow from technical to people managers
Advice to Senior Management – Middle managers need to grow and learn how to talk to people, evaluate them, praise them

Current Employee – been working at Ixia full-time for less than a year
Pros – Dynamic environment, with lots of people to learn stuff from. That is if one is willing to learn and improve his skills.
The rating system upon which, the managers are mainly evaluated based on the feedback provided by the ones they manage
Cons – Teams have a strong autonomy, so it kind of depends who your direct supervisor is. Some people can have a really hard time and be constantly under pressure if their manager is eager to prove himself.
