ProsThey provide lot of opportunity to learn and perform to the assigned targets.
They appreciated all the employees to create the innovation ideas and share the owned experience.

ConsPolicy and process is very strict and we need to follow it with zero tolerance even it is negotiable.

Very good and organized company

Project Manager (Current Employee)
Gāndhīnagar, Gujarat

I have been working at Johnson Controls as a contractor for more than 3 years

ProsProvides freedom to work in your area. Allows you to recover from any kind of mistake you do apart from ethical.

ConsBack end support for site team is very slow. But in recent days after few changes in management everything is moving fine

Advice to Senior Management3rd party employees can be given chances to get on rolls based on performance, Instead of hiring new employees give the chances to 3rd party guys whom are working in the company having the dream on getting on roll one. Only because of this reason I've seen talented employees leave the organization

“Great company at first but too much politics and back stabbing”

Administration Lead - North (Current Employee)
New Delhi

I have been working at Johnson Controls full-time for more than 7 years

ProsGreat colleagues.
Steady job, quite peaceful.

ConsToo many processes to follow, sometimes very ineffective. Many inadequate people in charge. Workload for 4 people covered by two. A lot of politics and when you look to get help with a problem you get no help. It is very hard to move up within the company. They tend to lock a person into a position. Good employees are overlooked.

Advice to Senior ManagementToo many processes to follow, sometimes very ineffective. Many inadequate people in charge. Workload for 4 people covered by two.Create more career opportunities. Listen to your employees.

Bad . There is a huge difference between COEE & Johnson Controls

Engineer II (Current Employee)
Mumbai

I have been working at Johnson Controls

ProsCOEE India is an outright " Boss decides everything " sort of a company . People are fooled by the reviews of JCI and COEE is a sort of a BPO to do cheaper worker for JCI .

Pros

Excellent reviews if you can please your boss.
Excellent benefits as it is a subsidiary of JCI

ConsExtended working hours everyday
Very low pay
Awful office environment

Advice to Senior ManagementPlease conduct an audit of COEE and speak to the employees to speak the truth , only then will you realize the mess it is in

Engineer

Engineer (Current Employee)
Holland, MI (US)

I have been working at Johnson Controls as an intern for more than a year

ProsGreat People, Great environment, knowledge people. The products are cool and the technology is up to the date. worked in the AE department for 2 years within different teams. all the managers I had are great great people.

Consprocedure is slow. It takes too long to process anything. JCI is trying to get out the AE department and I think this is just a bad idea. Some people dont fit the corporate culture but I think it is more about their problem.
