Job cuts, Job cuts & More Job cuts

Software Engineer IV (Current Employee)
Bangalore

I have been working at Juniper Networks full-time for more than 5 years

ProsWork life balance, Environment used to be very healthy, nice people

Conslately with so many Job cuts, employees are not able to concentrate on work at all...Company has bowed to investors and firing people despite amazing quarterly results

Advice to Senior ManagementPlease try to save the company...Investors will move away in 2 years...Company will not be able to survive without good employees which are being thrown out..

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

Bangalore

I worked at Juniper Networks full-time for more than 3 years

ProsStrong Bangalore team, well balanced global co-ordination helps fast pace growth in networking industry. It was a great place for me to learn.

ConsOne can be stuck in mundane work. Growth can be stuck too. The company was growing rapidly and thus the quality was lowering down.

Heartbleed (not a bug) at Juniper ! ;-)

Software Engineer (Current Employee)
Bangalore

I have been working at Juniper Networks full-time for more than 5 years

ProsGreat colleagues , good environment and good salary .

ConsDirectionless top management , lack of planning , delayed product releases resulting in unhappy customers. Hire and Fire Policy . it has became latest trend to fire employees every quarter of the year . no value for loyal and hard working and performing employees . Cost cutting procedure can cut you short at any time even you are well performing, loyal employee.

Advice to Senior ManagementLoyalty is two way street . if you are not loyal to employees there is no point in expecting the same from employees . In long run investors wont help you to run the company but good and loyal employees will . investors are here to make short term gains and they are not interested in company future at all
