Former Employee – worked at Kimberly-Clark full-time for less than a year
Pros – Good product; a wish for changes in the company; global network of colaboration
Cons – I was not convinced about the rightness of changes and methods of implementations.
Advice to Senior Management – Listen to employees as opposed to arranging another unreadable intranet forum.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

Current Employee – been working at Kimberly-Clark full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – If you like a 9 to 5 position, this is nice. The company also offers summer hours. The job is not physically demanding, nor intellectually demanding, the tasks are pretty routine. Allows you to work on your patience (a great virtue) when dealing with consumers who contact you about trivial things.
Cons – Too mundane, at least for me. Doesn't leave room for creativity. If you have a complaint about your position or you want something to change, you may not be successfull. Everything is standardized. No room for creativity.
Advice to Senior Management – Provide more autonomy to the phone agents

Former Employee – worked at Kimberly-Clark full-time for more than 10 years
Pros – The compensation and benefits package is good. There is good opportunity to learn new skills as there is always some change taking place.
Cons – Management does not put enough stock in feedback from the front-lines. Upper levels seem to be more concerned with public perception than creating meaningful solutions with internal process improvements.
Advice to Senior Management – Stop worrying about what "The Street" thinks and do what is right by your employees and customers. "The Street" will eventually come around.

Current Employee – been working at Kimberly-Clark full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – Fantastic assembly of people, some of the most iconic brands in the world and, depending on what brand you work for, the ability to independently manage a large swath of the business
Cons – Location relative to other CPG companies is not optimal and for 2-3 brands the amount of layered over-staffing can be stifling.
Advice to Senior Management – Less interference is better, however I've never worked at a company whose people, from the CEO to the Admin, had as much passion for what they do and so much personality doing it

Current Employee – been working at Kimberly-Clark as an intern for more than a year
Pros – The company put me in engineering rolls that I might have someday. I worked in materials research, product research and design, and production engineering. Each time I was given a real project/task I could own and complete (mostly) in four months. I got a good look at what future career options may look like.
Cons – Mills tend to be in smaller towns, so it can get lonely for coops. Also, you're on your own for housing.
Advice to Senior Management – Help coops make strategic plans to see a wide variety of job roles. My career path has happened to go this way, but I think it's a good thing to do deliberately.
