    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    I was an intern during the past fall semester and I really enjoyed working at Live Nation. My supervisor and co-workers were extremely welcoming and helpful. They taught me everything I needed to know about our department and how it worked and always encouraged me to ask questions. I'd say it was the most hands on internship I've participated in and I gained some valuable skills that I know will stay with me throughout my career.

    Pros

    Hands-on experience working events; flexible hours; great coworkers;

    Cons

    In my time there, there was quite a bit of turnover... Not exactly something you want to see in a company you've once admired. Also, the internships are unpaid...

    I worked at Live Nation Entertainment as an intern (less than a year)

    Pros

    Great resume builder - an obviously well-known and respected brand in the industry.
    Easy to get acclimated - was hired on as a marketing intern, the day-to-day routine was quick to learn
    Flexible (depending) - my supervisor was young and new to the position, but she was understanding of a student schedule while balancing internship hours.

    Cons

    No real hands on experience - was never given challenging projects, despite always finishing assigned tasks early and asking if there was anything else to help out with.
    Corporate environment - cubicle style, and interns are placed in the back and isolated from everyone in the office.
    Didn't feel useful as an asset - towards the beginning of the internship I was eager to contribute new ideas or strategies that I thought would be useful, but probably due to their corporate system, most of the ideas were given a "sure, we'll look into the possibility of that" and never followed up with.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Consider integrating interns and appreciating them as hard-workers who are dedicated and interested in the music industry. Find a way to channel creative ideas in marketing strategies in a corporate environment so that the routine is not so mundane and unrewarding.
