    Pros

Industry Leader, great name for Resume.

    Cons

Little upward mobility, must be willing to uproot life and move to move up within the company.

    Pros

The largest live music event company in the world.

    Cons

The company has tremendous potential but the executive management is blind to good talent and there is too much bureaucracy.

I worked at Live Nation Entertainment

    Pros

The perks are nice if you're a fan of live music since you can attend many of their shows for free or get a great spot at a large-scale show. The other employees are also great as it has a down-to-earth atmosphere.

    Cons

There seems to be a large divide between upper management and its employees. Depending on which department you're in, it can also seem quite "clique-ish". Actual benefits aren't all that great and salaries could be improved.

    Cons

No Pay, make your work like a full time employee for no benefits

    Pros

Great Perks (to see concerts/shows), lots of time off, flexible schedule & awesome company parties!

    Cons

If in finance/accounting... LONG hours (which mean long work weeks), minimal advancement & terrible upper management.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Employees here are working long hours and hard to get everything in on the deadlines... compensate them and help them grow in getting promoted & increase pay. No one wants to stay stagnant in a position and work so much and not get a pay/title increase.

I worked at Live Nation Entertainment

    Pros

    Probably won't hurt your resume.

    Cons

Little opportunity for advancement. Pay way below market. Lots of fiefdoms. No work/life balance. HR is not your friend.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

There is a lot of value in the opinions and experience of people in the trenches...take time and check in on people below VP level from time to time to get a true sense of what's going on. And don't ask the VPs to do it for you, you will be missing the point.

I have been working at Live Nation Entertainment

    Pros

Discounted ticket prices for employees, swag on unsold concert shirts, but it's becoming less every year.

    Cons

Salary and compensation is average or below average.

I worked at Live Nation Entertainment as a contractor (less than a year)

    Pros

    - You can tell friends you work in Hollywood (even though in reality Hollywood is a disgusting city).

    Cons

    - Terrible managers in the eCommerce department. Managers are lazy and come in late all the time and their excuse is that it's an "entertainment" company. They also bully each other and play mind games with employees.
    - They keep employees in the dark about company structure so they wont move up in the corporate ladder.
    - High turnover ratio. Almost every employee I spoke to was relatively new.
    - Paranoid office environment. Employees are always worried about being fired.
    - Depressing office environment. Not as entertaining or fun as you'd expect it to be.
    - Parking sucks and traffic is terrible.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop being lazy and come to work on time. Spend some of that money and update your ERP systems so employees can actually be more effective.
