    Pros

    - laid back office setting & attire
    - good benefits for full time employees
    - time off over December holiday season

    Cons

    - poor work/life balance
    - no performance reviews / feedback on your work
    - salaries are overall low in comparison to other companies of this size

    Advice to Management

Performance reviews would be a great start. Improve work/life balance - although this completely depends on the specific office & manager.

    Pros

    - Unique problems to solve in the live music business space
    - Access to live events
    - Bring your dog to work
    - High performing company
    - Good location in Hollywood

    Cons

    - Lacks career development/learning
    - Highly layered structure
    - Too many "VP" levels - middle heavy
    - Difficult to progress, external hires tend to come in high up
    - Benefits are far from competitive

    Advice to Management

Spend more time developing employees instead of hiring in. Leadership development programs for up and coming employees, not just senior employees.

    Pros

flexible, nice people, free coffee, great music, got a tan

    Cons

Not enough free merch, too cold, smelly, no compensation, too loud

    Advice to Management

Please find a way to pay interns, they do a lot of hard work and deserve some sort of monetary compensation.

    Pros

-Everyone working there is extremely nice and helpful, appreciate what you do for them
-Instead of just doing mundane/intern stuff, they teach you about what they do and make sure that you have great things to put on your resume
-My boss helped me secure my next internship, went over my resume with me and was always available to discuss my career goals and help in any way he can

    Cons

-Some days were a bit slow

    Pros

I learned a lot at this internship. I was given a lot to do so I never really had idle time.

    Cons

They don't pay. Considering the fact that I was basically a marketing coordinator for the department I was in putting in 8-9 hours everyday I was there, it would have been nice to get paid.

    Advice to Management

Do intern seminars so they can learn about the company and other departments.

  9. It was cool to have access to shows, and all the artist. The hours were tedious since you had to work shows on weekends.

    Pros

Being able to attend concerts for free, and have a relaxed work environment during the week.

    Cons

Work on most weekends, which doesn't seem to be overly compensated. Work on the weekends tends to be longer hours setting up for shows.

  10. I enjoyed working with this company because the work is fun, fast paced, and the work environment is very enjoyable.

    Pros

Fun work at a concert venue, time usually passes by quickly, great people to work with.Food and drink provided most long days.

    Cons

Long hours, very hot some days, difficult to deal with drunken crowds at times. Very part time job. Angry customers are pretty brutal.

    Advice to Management

Allow more opportunities for career advancement, and give more responsibility to low level employees. Allow more hours to employees that desire it.

    Pros

Everyone in the office was friendly and willing to teach. My internship allowed me the opportunity to not only work in the downtown office, but also work the shows at the three amphitheaters in the area. Overall, great internship for someone looking to learn about concert promotions.

    Cons

Unfortunately, the internship was unpaid, which is the standard for the music industry. However, they did reimburse you for travel to the amphitheaters.
