Pros – staff is really co operative and helpful, and knows their job well

Cons – Marriott Mumbai when i was there had a shortage of staff so the staff was burdened with much of work

Pros – Great work environment, super co-workers and seniors, fantastic focus towards guests and a brand leader in Hospitality

Cons – Pay Scale is really poor compared to other industries, n especially in India where there is no hourly pay basis, but a fixed monthly salary

Advice to Senior Management – Should do everythin possible to retain the best employees

Pros – the standard the company, the quality of the service and a very efficent and skilled staff wid tremendous knowledge is the key of marriotts.

Cons – the only thing here is the working hours are quite hectic and even the pay is low soo thats the only thing which need to be changed.

Cons – Phathetic management one will ever encounter, No sense of belongingness or connectivity with staff.... huuuuuuge gap between Senior level management and lower level...
The only thing bad about Marriott (Gurgaon) is Management... Change dis and it will become Heaven to work !!!!!

Advice to Senior Management – when one lot can earn upto lacs of bucks i see no reason to give penny's to the other lot who is actually working their ass off !!! This is only for Courtyard By Marriott Gurgaon.. rest Marriott is i believe is fantastic.... Pay scale is very low... nothing that a graduate expects... And the Voyagers that is Management Trainees are incompetent which is a sad case for the future as they will be the future Management

Pros – You are not contained to just one department. Being a small hotel, if any other department is busy, you can always offer help and the best is, people do it on their own. The GM is extremely creative in his work, thinks out of the box, very friendly with staff, and always has time to listen to you. This hotel works like a family. Job satisfaction is extremely high.

They even offer home drop services to employees, and the other usual Marriott benefits like discounts.

Cons – - Needs to increase salary base

Advice to Senior Management – Just keep it up. Need to make constant upgrades.

Pros – Travel benefits and training are great. There are a lot of different Marriott brands to move to.

Cons – Benefits in the hotel industry are not great. You move from hotel to hotel for promotions and raises.
