    disappointing experience, the property standard is well below the acceptable industry standard.

    Prosgood start for freshers, lots of training and hand holding, Marriott offers freshers a first time look at world class hospitality systems.

    Conswork life balance non -existent, arrogant bosses, poor quality of work specific training, gaps in knowledge and poor property setup, salaries well below the industry standard.

    Advice to Senior Managementif you pay peanuts, you get monkeys. Retain quality staff (including managers) by offering better pay rises, ongoing Marriott - certified training, take the time to recognize and award your staff, improve hiring cycle to prevent any gaps in staffing ;and understand that by treating Managers like your personal lackeys, you effect the culture of the company in a negative way.

    ProsFantastic company policies, employee friendly, 9 hrs means 9 hrs work, and 6 offs in a month mean 6 offs in a month.

    ConsMere satisfaction at work doesn't pay your bills. Probably the only draw back is that the salaries are much below the industry standard.

    Advice to Senior ManagementSalaries are much below the industry standard. Hotels that show 99.99% employee satisfaction must be checked for the survey standards. As mostly, this is done with people standing over the head looking for good ratings.

    It's an average company to work at.

    Human Resource is extremely fast and offers lots of training.
    Senior management is often quite helpful with work-related issues.
    A good number of days off in a month in comparison to other players in the hotel industry.

    The pay scale is low and employee retention rate is quite average too.

    Advice to Senior ManagementProvide career guidance to employees. Work harder at retaining employees than in replacing them. Promote deserving employees at a faster rate so that you don't end up losing them.
