Great corporation with values, needs to improve on knowing which employees are valuable.

Human Resources Specialist (Current Employee) Daytona Beach, FL (US)

ProsComprehensive benefits, pay, and other 401k perks.

ConsEmployees can become a number if you are not in a high level position.

Advice to Senior ManagementFix the issues that your lower level staff point out, take their word when things are working correctly and validate their contributions. Many times through process improvement, the high level managers disregard the information provided from their staff, then they will hire a consultant to say the same thing. Very frustrating. Also, the performance reviews are a joke!!! Never once did I receive a review that actually mattered or matched my current contributions!!!!

    Stay Away

Jack of All Trades (Former Employee) Daytona Beach, FL (US)

Prosbenefits, vacation/personal time (if you are able to take it)

Consno training, no work/life balance, no communication, play favorites (not based on working hard). Not for the long term. No promotions but want you to supervise others...

Advice to Senior ManagementPay attention to dept. morale-dept. consists of more then your favorites-distribute work evenly to everyone

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

    Good benefits, bad management

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsVery good benefits and decent pay

ConsManagement consisted of simpletons who chose from the ranks those who were the best at brown nosing.

Advice to Senior ManagementYou really should re-think the processes used for hiring and promoting. The employees who are promoted are those with the biggest mouths who then go on to pick favorites and allow gross abuses of time and money from those select few. It is not an environment conducive to fairness in any way. I was very disappointed in the lack of solid leadership.

    Great place for interns

Intern (Former Employee) Taylor, MI (US)

ProsGood experience to build resume, decent pay especially compared to other job options (retail, fast food) available to college students, flexible enough to take classes part time while interning, gym onsite with free fitness classes, full service cafeteria onsite with subsidized prices, frequently allows long-term internships past 1 semester, community service opportunites

ConsLow starting salary for full time hires after internship - can get higher wages by going to a company you didn't intern for.

    Great company to work for.

Retail Business Analyst (Current Employee) North Atlanta, GA (US)

ProsThe company culture is laid back. They believe in work life balance. Masco offers plenty of vacation time for the holidays so that you won't have to use your own vacation time to spend with family and friends.

ConsDepending on what division you work there are limited opportunities for advancement.

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsEasy job. Product training and merchandising in Lowe's stores. Little to no supervision!

ConsAdvancement is almost impossible. Many days of just hanging out with no work to do.

    Tax Accountant

Tax (Former Employee) Taylor, MI (US)

ProsGreat people, excellent environment, Company emphasized on maintaining healthy life style.

ConsUnfortunately there is a lot favoritism not necessary to all of the department, in my situation there was. other than that a great company.

Advice to Senior ManagementPlease value loyalty, and be patience with new hired, train them well, great foundation will help. Focus on developing employees for the long run, and look for favoritism
