Current Employee – been working at Meralco full-time for more than 8 years
Pros – Stable electric utility company with lots of business opportunity in national and international scale. Creates sense of pride to be part of the largest electric utility company in the Philippines.
Cons – Exposed to negative issues regarding high energy prices, in which Meralco serves only as a distributing company and does not directly generate and transmit power.
Advice to Senior Management – Continue to find ways on how to improve controllable rate prices, employee empowerment and sustain supply of electricity in response to economic growth.

Former Employee – worked at Meralco as an intern for less than a year
Pros – -really high allowance/salary (higher than a lot of salaries for actual jobs)
-lots of seminars/development/leadership programs
Cons – -the talent of the interns were not harnessed to their fullest potential
-selection for the top10 does not accurately reflect what we all think as the real top 10 (some of the better people did not get a slot while the can possibly get one)
Advice to Senior Management – -better selection process for the top10 interns and for the awardings
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend

Former Employee – worked at Meralco full-time for more than 10 years
Pros – Top management was into re-engineering and multitasking was introduced. You are given the opportunity to find and develop your strength.
Cons – As you develop your strength, multitasking may at times hinder your growth because of the other tasks you have to do.
Advice to Senior Management – I left the company in the transition period so I am in no position to comment other than to say that I hope that Meralco will remain as "Liwanag ng Buhay".
