Current Employee – been working at Monsanto Company full-time
Pros – good allround field and market experience for a fresher.flexibility to do the job your way, helps in building result orientation attitude.
Cons – no extra attention given to skill development of TSMs.no fastrack growth opportunity.leadership programme starts only at the RSM level resulting in many budding TSMs look for better opportunites elsewhere.not everybody can wait for 7-8 years to get promoted to RSM level
Advice to Senior Management – please make the entry level TSMs go through rigorous stints across all business domains viz supply chain, marketing, distribution as this will give them a better idea of the business and help them take ownership of it through their current role

Current Employee – been working at Monsanto Company full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – Integrity, respect, sharing and care are ingrained in the culture. This is a company that leads by example and is willing to take the brunt of politics for the sake of the larger common good.
It provides excellent career opportunities and is willing to provide cross-functional exposures.
Cons – Ambiguity tolerance needs to be high for a person joining this company. The dynamic nature of the industry necessitates this company to be on its toes and respond quickly to the changing environment. This might mean change in roles / organization structure.

Current Employee – been working at Monsanto Company
Pros – Emphasis on safety - lot of emphasis on safety for everyone including contractors
Pay is good and increments are fair
Attrition is low
Cons – Although attrition is low, see good people leaving. Three senior people who probably had the highest regard among the employees left in the past few months
People are being let go especislly contractors. Lot of unnecessary rumors around especially about senior leadership balancing two roles.
Advice to Senior Management – Keep good people back.
