    Cons

Corporate has reduced benefits and reduced the holiday days available.

    Advice to Management

Management does not always have your best interests in mind. If you are good at your current job they don't always encourage you to advance and take on higher level responsibilities.

    Pros

Freedom to work without oversight and flexible work arrangements. Periodic travel helps to break it up a little.

    Cons

Growth opportunities become very limited once you're at senior level.

    Advice to Management

Stop focusing on the nonsense of Gallup polls and diversity. We live and work in the absolute most diverse time and culture ever imagined. This is not what is going to stimulate minds and collaboration. It may affect about 1% of our workforce that are out there "finding themselves", but for the rest of us, we need to make a living and respectable raises would help.

    Pros

Good benefits package. Ethical and professional environment.

    Cons

Federal and Defense contracting has become more difficult since the budget crisis began 4 years ago. Contractors are having a difficult time winning government awards since government agencies can't release new programs without knowing what their budgets will be. Consequently, backlog of business has been reduced and resulting in job cuts across the industry.
